The Pensions Appeal Tribunal reopened our office in George House Edinburgh on 15th June 2020, after being closed for almost three months. At this time, we will be prioritising essential work as we try to get back to normal service. Please note that during this time we may not be back to a full complement of staff, so there may be a slight delay in responding to any queries. Also, owing to social distancing and health and safety measures within the building there will be no face to face hearings taking place for the foreseeable future.
If you have an appeal with us currently at the stage of setting a hearing date, then please be aware that you will be offered hearing by teleconference or (should you agree to this) the appeal will be determined by the tribunal panel in your absence. If neither of these options are suitable, then your appeal will be set aside for the time being and listing for a face to face hearing when we can arrange this.
